【Hong Kong Badminton Open】Top players Introduction! Hong Kong Men’s Singles Ng Ka Long, Wong Wing Ki, Lee Cheuk Yiu

There are many star players in Hong Kong Team. Besides Men’s Singles, today we will introduce 3 Men’s Singles players Ng Ka Long, Wong Wing Ki and Lee Cheuk Yiu. Among the 3 players, Ng Ka Long has the highest world ranking. The world No.12 player surprised local fans by beating Lin Dan of China and won the bronze in Hong Kong Open 2015. He clinched the gold next year and reach the summit of his career. And in 2018 Denmark Open, Ng defeated Chen Long of China Team in the first round.

Wong Wing Ki joined Hong Kong team earlier than Ng. He pulled off the biggest upset in Denmark Open 2011 when he dumped Lin Dan to check into the quarter-finals. He defeated Wang Tzu-wei of Chinese Taipei and took his first international gold medal in New Zealand Open 2017, a BWF Grand Prix Gold tournament. He has also earned a bronze in Australian Open this year. The 3 players will strive for their best performance in the Hong Kong Open with the 37-year-old veteran player Hu Yun.
