【#Hong Kong Badminton Open 2019】Invincible Zheng Siwei / Huang Yaqiong are going to reclaim their title

China, the badminton power house, is going to send their strongest lineup to “YONEX-SUNRISE Hong Kong Open Badminton Championships 2019 part of the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 500” from 12th to 17th November at Hong Kong Coliseum this year. The invincible Mixed Doubles World No.1 Zheng Siwei / Huang Yaqiong swept all the titles in major tournaments recently, are going to be challenged by teams from around the world including Hong Kong’s Tang Chun Man/ Tse Ying Suet.

Zheng Siwei / Huang Yaqiong from Zhejiang played together as a team since the end of 2017. During this short period of time, they have already made remarkable achievements with nearly 20 titles and the gold medal of the Asian Games in Jakarta. They are also the third Mixed Doubles pair in the history that can successfully defend the World Championships title which made their world No. 1 ranking solid as stone.

Zheng and Huang won the Mixed Doubles title at their debut of the Hong Kong Open in 2017. They come back strong after withdrawing last year’s tournament due to injury and strive to regain their title. Fans are looking forward to their exciting performance against other Mixed Doubles players.

Tickets of “YONEX-SUNRISE Hong Kong Open Badminton Championships 2019” will be available for sale from 11th October 2019 at URBTIX (www.urbtix.hk). Ticket prices are same as last year from $40 to $680. Concession tickets are available for students and senior citizens in some of the sessions. Get your tickets as soon as possible!

Entry tickets to qualifying rounds and round of 32 of Mixed Doubles on 12th November (Tuesday) is free for distribution. Interested parties can send self-address envelope with stamp $2 to HKBA office, four tickets are distributed for each person while tickets are available.
