YONEX-SUNRISE Hong Kong Open Badminton Championships 2016 starts today (November 22) at Hong Kong Coliseum staging qualifying rounds and some of the main draw events of Doubles. Organizer sets up giant 3D paintings outside of the venue for spectators and citizens to feel the atmosphere of the 6-day Championships.

The four 3D paintings, totally 18 meters wide, are showing famous players including Lee Chong Wei, Carolina Marin, Viktor Axelsen, Sindhu P.V, Hu Yun and other Hong Kong Players. Fans can take photos in front of the backdrops with the effect of visiting Hong Kong attractions, such as Victoria Harbour, hawker food stall with the players or playing a badminton game with them.

Organizer aims to introduce attractions of Hong Kong besides promoting badminton. The paintings are placed outside of the Hong Kong Coliseum and are open to public without admission. On the first day of the Championships, lots of fans post in front of the backdrop and pretend to pour tea for Viktor Axelsen, Sindhu P.V and Hu Yun.

Come to Hong Kong Coliseum and have the photo opportunity with Lee Chong Wei and other badminton super stars! Remember to stand in front of the blue area for best photo effect!
