Spacious Media Centre Provides Comprehensive facilities

YONEX-SUNRISE Hong Kong Open Badminton Championships 2016 is part of the MetLife BWF World Superseries. As several Rio Olympics Medalists are participating, it attracts lots of media from different countries to Hong Kong. Media arrangement and hospitality are very important to the Organizer. They make every effort to facilitate the media’s need.

Media from China, Japan, Indonesia and other countries, came all the way to Hong Kong for the 6-day YONEX-SUNRISE Hong Kong Open Badminton Championships 2016. The event schedule is very tight and it starts from morning till late at night. To facilitate media, organizer provides comprehensive facilities and service in the media center, such as computers, printers, copies of updated game schedule and result. There are also TVs with live signal to let media watch the matches without going into the stadium. News clippings are posted on the notice board for their reference. There is also food corner providing sandwiches, cup noodles, snacks and drinks. At night hot meal such as pasta, fried rice will be served to ensure media will not work with an empty stomach.

YONEX-SUNRISE Hong Kong Open Badminton Championships 2016 will start another session of the quarter finals at 6:30 pm tonight at Hong Kong Coliseum. The finals will be held on Sunday, November 27.
